Championship Rules

• All players are expected to adhere to the dress code at all times during the event. This includes the playing hall and awards ceremony. Participants who do not comply with the dress code regulations may face penalties from the organizing committee.
• Smoking is forbidden in the playing hall.
• After each game, players must submit the original scoresheets, signed by both players, to the arbiter.
• Players who have finished their games shall be considered as spectators and are not allowed to stay in the playing area.
• Players are asked not to bring mobile phones or any other electronic devices (even switched off) into the playing hall. Bringing any device to the playing hall will result in a forfeit.
• The arbiter may require the player to allow his clothes, bags, or other items to be inspected, in private. The arbiter or a person authorized by the arbiter for inspection shall be of the same gender as the player. If a player refuses to cooperate with these obligations, the arbiter shall take measures following Article 12.9. of the Laws of Chess.
• Random checks of players may be carried out before and after every game.
• Fair Play measures will be taken according to the FIDE Anti cheating regulations.
• The players shall take no action that will bring the game of chess into disrepute.
• Players are obliged to obey Tournament Regulations.

Championship Conditions

• Grandmasters with a standard Elo of 2700+ are eligible to get free single room accommodation with full board and $1000 compensation for an air ticket. Subject to FIDE rating list of August 2025, and approval.
• Grandmasters with a standard Elo of 2650+ are eligible to get free single room accommodation with full board and $700 compensation for an air ticket. Subject to FIDE rating list of August 2025, and approval.
• Grandmasters with a standard Elo of 2600+ are eligible to get free single room accommodation with full board and $500 compensation for an air ticket. Subject to FIDE rating list of August 2025, and approval.
• Grandmasters + 5 Female players (of masters tournament) will be invited and
  may apply for free single room accommodation with full board & $500 compensation for an air ticket. by submitting the condition form. Subject to the FIDE rating list 1st of August 2025, and approval.
• The last day for accepting Accommodation & compensation for Air Ticket Condition applicants is 25th July 2025.
• Applying for accommodation does not automatically make the player eligible to get a condition.
• If a participant's application for accommodation is accepted, the organizer will contact the player directly with an official form to be signed and returned as instructed through the email.
• Pictures may be only taken with flash during the first ten minutes of the rounds. After that, only Media representatives holding an accreditation are allowed to film or photograph in the playing hall.
• Only players and arbiters shall be allowed in the actual playing area. Exceptions may only be granted by the Tournament Organizer and Chief Arbiter.

Transportation & Amenities

• Transportation will be provided for free to all invited players only.
• Transportation will be provided from the airports specified below only:
  • Fujairah International Airport: Operated by two international airlines (Salam Air and EGYPTAIR). From Fujairah to Muscat or Cairo and onward to amazing destinations.
  • Sharjah International Airport.
  • Dubai International Airport - (Termails, 1, 2 and 3).
• For other participants it can be provided subject to certain charges.
• Free Transportation for ALL PLAYERS from Abu Dhabi Chess Club & Mind Games to FUJAIRAH by buses.
